The Department of Physics & Astronomy hosted national Science Olympiad events on Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16. Over 2,500 visitors attended the STEM expo in Jorgensen Hall on Friday. High school and middle school students from around the nation competed in multiple standards-based challenges in all STEM fields on Saturday. UNL Today reported on the competition on May 15, 2015.
