Architectural Plans

 

Project wish list (items in blue have already been completed in the first room):

  1. Remove chalkboards and old electrical outlet boxes
  2. Clear asbestos in ceiling where necessary.
  3. Reswitch overhead fluorescent lights to allow for an evenly-distributed, low-light setting.
  4. Clean covers on overhead lights.
  5. Construct steel overhead grid to support power outlets, data lines, and the hanging of physics equipment from Unistrut.
  6. Provide 12 outlets overhead with twist-lock connectors and two outlets on each wall. Each overhead outlet is a separate circuit.
  7. Provide 12 ethernet data ports overhead.
  8. Construct prototype of a newly-designed lab table to support groups of three, a computer and interface box, and physics equipment.
  9. Repaint all walls and ceiling and install new baseboards.
  10. Install bulletin boards and dry-erase boards.
  11. Install manual-clutch black-out shades on all windows.
