  • Once you have selected a sensor and a way to display the data, you are ready to collect
data and have it displayed in real time. To collect data you can use the mouse to select the
monitor (MON) button or the record (REC) button or you can make your selection under the
    "Experiment Menu."

Clicking the monitor button allows you to monitor data without saving it. This
allows you to quickly try out the equipment.

Clicking the record button allows you to take data and have the computer save
it. You must record data in order to analyze it (for example, you must record
the data in order to find an average value).

  • Each time data is recorded, the computer saves a run (Run #1, Run
#2, ....). These runs can be deleted by selecting them with the mouse
    and typing the delete key.
